After years owning and working in a Ford wrecking yard, Business founder and owner Trevor Oxnam took an interest in the many broken window regulators in Falcon wrecks.

One Sunday, he sat down and started tinkering, and eventually worked out a way to fix them. This tinkering led to manufacturing cogs, cables and plastic fittings for Falcons. He then investigated repairing other models of regulators and from these humble beginnings, Powerwin Automotive was born.

Powerwin's next move was manufacturing unavailable odometer cogs. The company has grown to specialise in all types of drive gears and cogs from power seat cogs to sunroof cogs, and everything in between.

Now, a decade later, Powerwin remanufactures power window regulators for all makes and models. Specialising in rebuilding OEM regulators so that they are accessible to the public.
